The Annual Ken DeFeo Memorial Scholarship
A deserving young scholar athlete will be given financial assistance to further his/her education at Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast High School. With your help, the Ken DeFeo Memorial Scholarship Fund has assisted numerous families since 1998. Please help us, through your continued generosity, to help more in the Augustinian and Catholic tradition.
This trustworthy cause also carries on the legacy of a special person, Ken DeFeo, who was a great father, husband, friend, son, brother, teammate, man and follower of Jesus Christ!
About Ken DeFeo
The football coach at Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast High School talks to players about the legacy of Ken DeFeo
Ken was inducted into Monsignor Bonner High School Hall of Fame in 2006 and The Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame’s Delaware County Chapter in 2009. He was the first recipient of Bonner High’s John Cappelletti award and made numerous All League, All County, All State teams, as well as All Stars, and won numerous other awards in high school and college for his football playing ability. Ken captained his high school and college football teams as well as captained his high school baseball team. He was a member of student council and National Honor Society while in high school. Sr. Agnes, one of Kenny’s teachers at Bonner High, said it best: “Kenny DeFeo had goodness written all over his face.” Kenny touched many people in many ways in the north and south, USA.
