Hello everyone!

We are greatly looking forward to celebrating the Feast Day of Our Lady of Fatima on the 13th of May, especially this year, because it marks the 99th Anniversary of Our Blessed Mother’s 6 appearances to the 3 children of Fatima, Portugal in 1917. During those visits , the last of which occurred on October 13, she asked everyone to recite the Holy Rosary daily; to practice the First Saturday Devotion; and to offer up sacrifices, especially those sacrifices demanded by our daily duties.  She asked us to do  these things in order to make reparation for the sins against her Immaculate Heart, to save souls from hell, and to bring about world peace.

To mark the occasion, Oremus Communications will sponsor a series of special events.  First, we will continue our ongoing Novena Prayer Program to Our Lady of Fatima at 12:05pm-EST-USA everyday (except on Sundays when we start at 1:50pm) and our Oremus Communications Family Rosary Program (OCFRP) at 12:15pm-EST-USA, also everyday (except on Sundays when we begin at 2:00pm).

Next,  Mr. Carl Malburg, the Guardian of The International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatimawill return as co-host of the OCFRP on  Wednesday, the 11th of May.  Carl will be calling in from theDiocese of Charleston, South Carolina, USA to share insights into the Message of Our Lady of Fatima,especially, in this Year of Mercy.

On May 13th itself, we are honored to have as our guest co-host for the first time on the OCFRP, Dr.Rocco Leonard Martino, noted World Traveler and Author of many books, including “The Resurrection”.  In addition, Dr. Martino has served with distinction on numerous boards of international organizations, including the Gregorian University Foundation, the Foreign Policy Research Institute, and the Vatican Observatory Foundation. Dr. Martino will talk about his multi-faceted career and join in the recitation of The Holy Rosary.

On Tuesday, the 17th, Fr. Peter Welsh of St. Joseph’s Parish in Coatesville, Pa.  will return to the OCFRP and speak of St. Louis De Montfort and his love for Our Blessed Mother.

And finally, our good friend, Mr. Charles A. DeFeo, O.P., Member of The Lay Dominicans will return from his trip to Rome and share with us his impressions of the Eternal City as well as thoughts on this Holy Year, The Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy on Wednesday , May 25th, 12:15pm EST.
