OREMUS COMMUNICATIONS JANUARY 2017 NEWSLETTER
Hello everyone! The staff at Oremus Communications prays that your spiritual journeys are off to a good start in this New Year of 2017! We hope that you continue to include us in your efforts to make a spiritual difference in the world by logging onto oremuscomms.com and praying with us on a regular basis both Live or on Archive throughout the New Year. Specifically, the Oremus Communications Novena Prayer Program in honor of Our Lady of Fatima begins at 12:05 pm (EST) {Monday thru Saturday and 1:50 pm on Sundays}; followed by our Family Rosary Program (OCFRP), starting at 12:15 pm (EST) {M-Sat and 2:00 pm on Sundays}.
There is much to pray for in 2017. Many of our intentions from last year still remain such as the end to violence in all of its forms, the health and welfare of Pope Francis and all the members of the clergy throughout the world, respect for the right to life in all of its forms and stages, the end to evil discrimination in all of its forms , and so on. In addition, we will focus our efforts in bringing more awareness to the Fatima Message as we prepare to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima’s visits to Lucia, Jacinta, and Francisco back in 1917.
Our guest co-hosts will continue throughout the year to pray with us and inspire us with their own spiritual stories and experiences. Starting this month on Monday, January 9, Fr. Peter Welsh who serves as Parochial Vicar at St. Helena Parish in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and as the Spiritual Director of Regina Pacis, the Spanish Curia of the Legion of Mary will return to the OCFRP talking about the importance of the Feast Day celebrating the Baptism of The Lord.
On the following Friday, Mr. Carl Malburg the Guardian of the International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima will pray with us and talk about the Fatima Message as the countdown to the 100th Anniversary of the Fatima apparitions fast approaches!
One week later on the 20th, Mr. Charles DeFeo, OP from The Lay Fraternities of St. Dominic will be with us again to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the founding of the Dominicans and to discuss early church history.
On Wednesday, the 25th, a newcomer to OCFRP will join us. Fr. Michael Davis, Parochial Vicar from the Assumption B.V. M. parish in Feasterville, Pa. will pray the Holy Rosary followed by a description of his experiences on a recent mission awareness trip to Tanzania in Africa.
We hope you can join us in these events and that you stay well in all ways. Until then:
