OREMUS COMMUNICATIONS JANUARY 2018 NEWSLETTER

               Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Everyone!  We hope that many of your petitions were answered after much prayer and many acts of repentance during this past Advent season.

               Oremus Communications (OC) believes that each intention is unique and merits our attention and spiritual assistance.  OC does its best before each recitation of the Holy Rosary on the Oremus Communications Family Rosary Program (OCFRP) to acknowledge all the needs of the world including those of which OC is made aware directly from our prayer partners.

               Of course, it is impossible to acknowledge each intention during each daily recitation of the Holy Rosary, but rest assure, that we pray for all of your intentions and petitions from the least to the greatest.  One of the greatest petitions during the month of January has to do with the protection of human life at all stages of the life continuum.

               For example, the March for Life in Washington, DC looms large on Friday, January 19, 2018 where thousands of marchers are in attendance annually to draw attention to the evils of abortion and euthanasia.  As we mentioned in our last newsletter, we perceive a connection between artificial means to regulate human reproduction and the alternative, Natural Family Planning (NFP), sanctioned by the Catholic Church.

               As most of you know, NFP provides for a variety of methods to regulate human reproduction with great accuracy.   One such method is the Creighton method.  OC was very fortunate to attend a Respect for Life Conference at St. Peter’s Church in Honey Brook, PA on December 4, 2017  wherein the Creighton method was described by one of its major proponents, Marie DiCecco, MS.  Marie is a Fertility Care Practitioner in the Chester County area of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.   Also in our last newsletter, we pointed out the connection to the above topics and the 50th anniversary of Humanae Vitae in June 2018.  We will continue throughout the year to highlight this connection with a variety of guests and teaching programs by special guests.

               Our lineup of guest co-hosts on Oremus Communications Family Rosary Program (OCFRP) in January includes the following:  Mr. Carl Malburg, Guardian of the International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima who will be with us on Tuesday, January 23.  On Thursday, January 25, our good friend Charlie DeFeo, renowned author and member of the Lay Dominicans, will be with us to give us an eye witness account of the March for Life in Washington, DC.

               We certainly hope that you can join us on these special dates as well as on other occasions throughout the days and weeks to come, as we continue to strive to make a spiritual difference. OREMUS
