Freedom and chastity go hand in hand and our Lord Jesus Christ and His Mother and Our Blessed Mother Mary exemplified the virtue of chastity as did St. Joseph and many saints.
Over the last 60 years at least our culture has been fed the lies of the sexual revolution claiming one will be free , especially women, by using artificial birth control so one can have sex freely without the “burden” of getting pregnant. Pregnancy is a GIFT and a tremendous blessing to any and every married couple, not a burden, and was planned within the marital embrace.
My oh my how false this sexual revolution thinking is and the carnage is everywhere around us because of this culture of death; abortion, pornography, broken lives, broken marriages, broken homes, numerous pregnancies outside the marriage vows, depression, anxiety, suicide all of which are at all time highs.
This is NOT freedom, this is slavery!
I encourage all to read Humanae Vitae and Familiaris Consortio. I encourage all to at least gain a working a knowledge and study NaPro Technology and NFP (Natural Family Planning) all of which brings true freedom. I encourage all married couples to practice this and single people to save themselves for marriage which is between 1 man and 1 women and know that sex is reserved for marriage. If we practice this as a culture we will be free, there will be no divorce, there will be no abortion, there will be no hatred. With God all things are possible and only with Him can all this be accomplished! Apart from Him nothing will be accomplished!
What is truth? Truth is not a notion nor a feeling nor a belief. Truth is a person! That person is Jesus The Christ! He lived these truths and he taught these truths and he is the way the truth the light and the life! He lived in total freedom when he walked the earth and you can to by following HIS WAY! He showed us the way as a man, incarnate, in the flesh!
His way is NOT the way of artificial contraception. His way is natural. Isn’t it funny how people will flock to organic food stores to buy all foods organically grown which means there are no artificial means pumped into the foods eaten yet we allow ourselves to be pumped with artificial pills and vaccines of which we don’t even know what is contained in them , however, we just trust science blindly yet we don’t trust TRUTH!
O how lost we are! But there is always hope and I ask you to search for and live in faith, hope and charity.
You and I can always change, we can always repent, we can always allow ourselves to be transformed and come to and live in truth.
I dedicate this piece to my own children and God willing their children and pray they come to and live in these truths and that they know I am always here as long as I live to accompany them in these truths.
It took me 50 plus years to fully embrace and live in these truths even though I always believed they were there.
Please Lord, open the hearts of mankind to accept and live in truth and thank you for your MERCY!!!!
