There is nothing more important in our times nor any times than preaching the Gospel for the salvation of souls and using words to do so when necessary.
These are the greatest pandemics of our times and all times – abortion, contraceptive mentality including population control, depression, suicide, living together out of wedlock, conceiving children out of wedlock, addiction and compulsion.
St. Thomas Aquinas’ prayer before mass states and I paraphrase, Lord, I come before you as one sick and in need of The Divine Physician. THis is so true!
Yet, we are obsessed with controlling the population and contracepting all the while the entire world’s population could fit into the state of Texas with 1200 square feet of space for each person.
In addition, 2.5 billion lives worldwide have been lost due to abortion over the last 50 years. That is about 25% of the world’s population being snuffed out before even given the chance to live.
We are also obsessed with a current pandemic called coronavirus, whereby 6 million deaths have been reported as a result of coronavirus but we don’t know how many of these people who have died may have died anyway as a result of something else. How many of these people were already unhealthy and in danger of dying from another condition? We are obsessed with health care and taking care of ourselves to the point that nothing matters more then the longevity of “my” life in this world while not even giving one thought to life in the next, eternal life or eternal death!
We also don’t know how or why coronoavirus started and no one seems to care enough to find out why. Was it unleashed as a bio weapon and if so, who was involved? We have enemies within and enemeies without.
The most important battle we all face on a daily basis is the fight for our interior life. I must win the battle against myself every day and so must you. The only way this battle can be won is in, through and with Christ The Lord and by living the Sacramental life on a regular and consistent basis; loving the Lord your God with all your mind, heart and strength and loving your “neighbor” as yourself. Glorifying God while helping and serving others starting in our own homes and within our families.
Do Not Be Afraid!
I don’t believe anyone should be afraid of anyone who is nor is not vaccinated I also don’t believe masking is necessary but again if you want to wear a mask by all means do and if you don’t then that is okay as well. We have had virus and disease since the beginning of time so just take precautions without obsessing. Medicine is a gift from God as is everything. We need God’s grace and thankful for it and let’s use it properly.
We should be conscientious of people’s space, wash our hands often, cover our mouths when coughing or sneezing with a tissue, be good stewards of God’s precious earth and take care of each other with love and tenderness.
I am not a threat nor are you so we should not use any social justice issue to divide family, friends, neighbors, country and world.
St. Catherine of Siena said become all that God created you to be and you will set the world on fire so let’s do that. May we preach the Gospel for the salvation of souls everywhere we go and use words when necessary and stop pretending or belieiving that abortion, contraception, living together as married when indeed not married, living the homosexual lifestyle, transgenderism, fornication, adultery, pornography, prostitution and so much more is okay when it’s not and furthermore all of this paves the way to hell not salvation and not true freedom and not becoming the man or woman that God created us to be.
We can do better, we can be holier, we can become saints with God’s help and each other’s help. Repent, which means turn around, go to confession, go to mass and recieve Holy Communion and start walking the way, the true way to eternal salvation.
All of what I write above is natural immunity for our bodies and souls.
Keep on walking. Walk By Faith To Live Joyfully!!!!
