Wake up America and world, there is one King above all others. His name is Jesus, and He sits on His throne yesterday, today and forever. So, let’s start adoring, worshiping and glorifying Him now. He is the only historical figure or leader of any religion or organization who claimed to be the Son of God and Son of Man. Therefore, He either is who He says He is or He is a liar. You decide. He was born as we all were. He chose to come in poverty and stayed in poverty throughout His earthly life, so that speaks volumes about what God thinks. He never wrote a book, held an office or even graduated from schools, nor did He acquire material wealth or hold any political positions yet He is more important than and has more followers historically and spiritually than anyone else in the history of mankind. Read Matthew 2:1-12, Luke 1:32 and Luke 20:41-42.
In addition the CCC explains Jesus Christ: The Eternal Son of God, who was born of the Virgin Mary, suffered crucifixion and death, rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, and will come again in glory to judge, the living and the dead. “Jesus”, which means “God saves” in Hebrew, was the name given to Him at The Annunciation; “Christ” is a title which comes from the Greek translation of the Hebrew Messiah and means “anointed” (184f.; 430, 436, cf. 727).
Mary is our Queen and here is why, read Luke 1:26-55; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Revelation 11:19-12:6; John 19:26-27 and John 2:1-11, Pay close attention to verse 5. Mary points the way to Jesus always, “do whatever He says”. The CCC explains Mary: The mother of Jesus. Because she is the mother of Jesus- Son of God and second person of The Blessed Trinity- according to the flesh, she is rightly called the Mother of God (Theotokos)(148, 495). Mary is also called “full of grace,” and “Mother of The Church”, and in Christian prayer and devotion, “Our Lady”, the “Blessed Virgin Mary”, and the “New Eve”(722,726,963). So, let us never forget that she was Chosen by The Father, chosen for The Son and The Bride of The Holy Spirit!!! Go to her with your prayers and petitions. She is a powerful intercessor on our behalf and brings all our needs to the feet of Jesus on His throne.
The Apostles and canonized saints throughout history are our friends, helpers, brothers, sisters and fellow soldiers in the fight against evil. Please read up on the lives of the saints. Start with your favorite saint and start reading about him or her. The saints also point us directly to Jesus and help us in our “walk” ( Micah 6:8). Read CCC 828, significance of canonizing and the Apostle Saint Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 11:1 – “Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ”. We should imitate the saints because they imitated Jesus. Get to know and read about the saints in church history.
We the faithful call Heaven, Church Triumphant; those who have passed on from this life to the next who are not yet in heaven but undergoing purification as no one can stand in the presence of God with any blemish (this state we call Purgatory) is called church suffering, and those of us who are faithful and fighting the good fight we call Church militant. We don’t fight against people because all are God’s children, we fight against powers and principalities and darkness and evil as the Apostle St. Paul tells us in Ephesians 6:12.
