Let Our Words Encourage and Build One Another Up

I am big on using words that encourage and build up rather than tear down. I don’t use foul language or curse, there is never a reason to use foul language and it only brings despair. If I am in the company of another who takes my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ name in vain I always finish the sentence by saying …is my lord and savior and bow my head.

We should be good and holy examples in every way, the way we speak and the way we treat our bodies, we are living examples of God in our lives and temples of His Holy Spirit.

The Apostle St. Paul tells us at least twice to use words that encourage and builds up, not tears down, see 1 Thessalonians 5:11, “therefore encourage one another…; and again in Romans 14:19.

So as Proverbs 27:17 tells us, “As Iron Sharpens Iron So Man Sharpens His Fellow Man”.

Let’s always make sure we strengthen and sharpen one another by our words and actions.

Peace, Truth, Love and Mercy!!!
