My dear brothers in Christ,
I believe that the video of Fr. James Altman from the LaCrosse, Wisconsin diocese is historic. In it he declares the total corruption of any political party that is promoting abortion 100%.
If he had said that you could not be a Communist and a Catholic at the same time, no one would have taken notice.
Abortion is totally contrary to our faith just as much as atheism and the totalitarian state are contrary to our faith.
It is historic because it is well known that Catholic clergy, including the bishops, prefer “dialoguing” and groveling to proclaiming this message. The same with their passing over the label of “non-essential” for worship when the corona virus hit. It is historic because of the overwhelming positive response by the laity who have been hungering for such courageous teaching.
Abortion is no more a “single issue” than was slavery.
In his second video Father Altman maintains the orthodox teaching he gave in the first video.
This in contrast to Fr. James Martin who maintains his omission of orthodox teaching in his so-called ministry to the LGBTQ community without bishops’ censure.
This in contrast to former Vice President Joe Biden maintaining that his faith means so much to him while promoting the wholesale murder of unborn babies.
St. Paul says in 2 Timothy 4:2 “I charge you in the presence of God…proclaim the word, be persistent whether it is convenient or inconvenient.” The inconvenient message is: “Those who murder the unborn should never be trusted with governing the living.”
Not only pray for an end to abortion but vote for an end to abortion.
